Memorial Bench

Thursday 24th November celebrated the inauguration of the first bench to be dedicated in the village.
Organised by the Friday Club, with the support of the Rees family.

The bench is dedicated to Peter and Judy Rees.
They both gave years of dedication and fun to the village.

The Rees family and friends marked the occasion with a small ceremony, led by the Rev. John Good.
A poem by Fred Cornes was read by Matthew Rees, remembering the couple through the years.

The bench is situated inside the main gate of the the village hall, and is available for all to sit and enjoy.
