Does anyone remember

At the end of 1949 early 1950’s there was a retired missionary who we called Uncle Frank, he took a small group of village children for Sunday school. We used to sit in the field alongside St Andrew’s church. All I remember being told is that he had been a missionary in China. Does anyone have any information on this Uncle Frank. I was only a very small child at the time but have never forgotten him.
